Prototype Notes

This prototype, consisting of parts of the webnovel, 1969, is being authored with Google's Blogger software to test the overall concept of experiencing fiction on the medium of the web and to get feedback on particular webnovel features. This software has a number of technical limitations that make it unlikely to be the ultimate platform for this or other webnovels. However, we are using it for prototyping because authoring with it and providing reader access to it are easy and free. Users are encouraged to provide feedback on any aspect of the webnovel by entering comments at the end of each scene or emailing suggestions to: Info@cyberfictionpublishers.com

1. Photos: Photos are embedded in some scenes of the prototype, but these are for demonstration purposes only; they are not genuine period photos. Going forward, we are committed to embedding primarily period materials provided by users of the webnovel.
   
2. The current Blogger software is quite primitive in the way it handles page design, placement of images, and links; eventually, we expect to be able to design pages and place images in more sophisticated ways such as ghosting images behind text.
   
3. Due to copyright and permissions considerations, YouTube occasionally discontinues certain video clips. If you experience this, please notify us immediately in a comment at the end of the scene in which this occurs and/or email to: Info@cyberfictionpublishers.com so we can try to replace the discontinued clip.
