In the ten years or so between the mid-sixties and the mid-seventies, events very much like those described in this webnovel took place on and around dozens, if not hundreds, of college campuses across America. And, people very much like the characters in this webnovel, grappled with similar interpersonal and inner-conflicts and were faced with many of the same social issues as are depicted here. They listened to the same music, saw the same news on television, and partook of the same zeitgeist.
